Will be my first time on the ZX at the track. Its all stock save for a muzzy pipe and a PCV. Which Roman ( thank you sir! )gave me a map to try out for it. I also took out the flies. Other than that stock height, connie seat ( so its a little taller which wont help me since I am 5'8 ), swb and stock gearing.
I would very much like to see a 9.90 out of her. But I am not expecting much since it will still be cold and the bike is still new to me.
I have a worn down pilot 2 on back that needs to be changed out. I am going to use that and see what happens. After that I have a set of Shinko's ( steatlh front and hook up rear ) that I may spoon on a set of rims as my track tires.
I am know I am probably asking alot, but I would love to see some 1.6x's 60 fts. I ll be curious to see how many runs it takes me to get the numbers going. This is opening day for the track, so I am not sure how much it will be prepped. Plus its calling for a blistering 40 degrees temp and overcast. Not an ideal day for running.
We'll see what happens. I ll get some video and pictures and post them up.
