Geez...on second look...took a good amount of force I'm thinkin to snap that triple tree like it is...forks most likely damaged(read...unfixable).And there's substantial damage to that right fork there...IDK....if it were me...I'd ditch her and try for a 'total' status.

thanks all , im fine . She was making a left out of parking lot and was probably looking to her right to cross intersection and with me locking it up and her not stopping it made for a very small window to react . the adjuster had trouble doing the bike so we sent bike to pete's cycle dealership for assistance .

Okay...I see...no ABS.No matter.Maybe IF they total it(hopefully)you can get a new one with ABS....that would be nice...may as well try...looks good on insurance papers and rates as well;)

Clipped her pretty good looks like;)Just noticed how much subtle damage has happened to the whole frontend...radiator...most likely discs.Calipers maybe.Who knows what hidden damage is in that steering head
?(Frame damage...probably).Engine most likely took a frontal hit with that radiator jamming into it. Totalled...yes...go for it.Any broken Motor Mounts under there?(make sure ya salvage yer ECULOL!!!!)YOU....Hooligan you;)

Hit with enough force to snap the upper triple. She's junk. It's gonna cost you and insurance just as much if not more money to repair it verse buying a whole new bike. Glad you made it through that wreck. Too many brothers & sisters going down this year.

I concur, with that much visible damage there is more lurking underneath. Once you add stealership rates for labor on top of parts, it will likely be totaled.

Make sure that they cover any of your gear that got even a scratch on it.

And they get to pay full price too

yes I'm hoping that at a minimum they set me up like I was before the accident and not low ball me .

Insurance companies are famous for making low first offers.

Don't accept anything that you believe is not fair to you - you need to made whole again.

And if you sustained any injury, no matter how minor, don't accept any offer until you are sure that you are fully recovered.

One reason I run without a headlight on... Lame Law that did not save a patrol officer at an intersection or you. Gotta 'be the headlight' so you stop to see them dart out: where were you looking? That's a lot of traffic down that road.

If that dyno cover is cracked, so goes the bent nose at the crank... Sometimes = Totaled either way. To cover my company's ass, I'd add a frame so we do not rebuild the bike one more time = Totaled. I get a call from bentboy, 'bought me a crashed 14 and it rides down the road sideways is when it's sitting on the center stand; wad do you think it could be?'

I thought your insurance pays you off, then recoops from h/er insurance? So don't you tell your insurance co to pay up? Unless you were not fully covered?

First thing hope you're ok. The bike's one thing, you are another.

Second, yep, I'd call it totalled.

Third, grab you're ECU out of it if they total it. I"ll buy it from you. I'm totally serious. Been looking for one, they're pretty hard to find. If it's scrapped, no one will miss the ECU. PM me if you're interested.

Sorry to see that man. Glad your ok. A big yes bike is gonna be totaled..just went through this. Any sort of frame damage a bike will be totaled. If not request it to be and get a new one.
