Hi all

does anyone have a bent/wrecked set of stock forks they would be willing to sell me one fork cap off of?

The part I need is 11065-0147 on the PartsShark fiche

my local Canadian dealer wants $189.00 to special order the single fork cap, after a little research best price I could find new was PartShark, $99.86, talked to them, they need to order it from Kawasaki, dependant of whether Kawasaki has stock.

I am preparing my ZX 14 ro run on the salt in Utah summer 2010, and am lowering the bike front and rear. I bought an extra set of stock forks from a crashed bike and am modifying the internals to lower the front height, the forks from the crashed bike came with the adjusters on one fork cap ground off from sliding upside down..... ouch.

any leads on a used fork cap for a reasonable price appreciated!

ps, yes I know I am lowering the front end the hard way, I am just not a big fan of lowering straps....
