It's a yosh R55 full system, I looked at some full view pictures, and it looks a little small on the 14..

Does it come in longer lengths? It might.I see what ya mean though....I could get used to it....it's not that bad....probably feather light....most likely less than a full 4 into 1 Brocks CT single.Yoshis are good pipes.

I think the next closest is the R77

I think that 55 would really look good in duallies.I got a set of the dual r77's for my bike...but those 55's look very good...better than I thought at first(when I ordered mine a while back).Too late now to switch...but yeah...I like those 55's.

Hi there,

I have the R55 full 4-1 system on my 14R, and this exhaust works. I weigh 150kg, and it lifts the front wheel as though I weigh 80kg. In the flesh, it is the best looking pipe( but that is in my eyes), as I am not a fan of duelies.

Bean NSW has gone the same road, as usual Qld is behind the times Ho Hum.
One downside to no sticker, if your in the transport industry & have to drive other people's vehicles, you need to do a rego check online first, to cover your you know what!

...an aftermarket cat? never knew there was such a thing.

Looks good if your going to go with more chromed stuff. I think it will be a bit heavier than many other systems. I would look at weight and performance first. Go with what other people buy. Hate to tell you to follow the crowd but this is too complicated for anyone to figure out on their own. What are others buying for the 14r. Brock's and Akra? That has been the way to go in the past. CT or Akra CF Evolution

It's too small and there's only one of them. You need twin cans of a decent size on a 14 to keep proportions right.

I think I'd go dual...but the length looks fine to me...the angle of that one pic makes it appear smaller...and the front of the bike bigger...it's not much smaller than the Brock's CT actually.Almost the same.Has a clean lines look to it that the others don't.No springs...just smooth piping.I don't like the cat position though.Takes away from the smoothness of the midpipe and all.But acceptable..yes.It's 'different' enough to make it quite appealing IMO.

I like the shape of that Yoshi R55 pipe the best of any I've seen.

But I had to have duals and that does not come in duals.

Love the flowing shape of it, though. I almost bought that for my bike.

I think it would look really good if it had a carbon end cap like the picture below, but I dont think it comes like that for the 14, also looks like all the R55's have cats, screw that ! too bad, I think with the carbon end cap it would look great !

everyone's entitled to opinion. I can see that comment. However a small 4-2-1 is gonna kick ass in the performance and weight dept. Drop the belly pan and a shorty looks cool on the 14. The CT shorty meg is cool. I do wish they could have come up with a unique shape.

I agree, the 14 needs decent size pipes. I love my duals but the CT-single is also nice. The Alien isn't bad either but having all that noise and heat close by is a no-no to me. If you're Drag Strip kinda guy it makes sense but for 99.99% of us, it doesn't. As far as the weight difference, it won't even matter because there is so many other places to shave it at. You'll have to have the same bikes, similar mods, and matching skills for that to make a difference and that only happen at the strip and at the end of the day R Gadson on a 250 is still faster than me on my 14.

As far as the Yosh, It's too small in my opinion, a little bit like a pro bodybuilder with... well you get the picture. The Alien head is small as well but because of where it sits, it looks better. Also, I'm not paying $$ to have a cat.

it's true you can drop a lot of weight off a 14 but the exhaust is the single biggest weight loss mod. I say take that for all it's worth. 30 lbs won't make all the dif in the world for acceleration. My 14 still leaves fast cars in the dust with me and a passenger on board. But for maneuverability, weight loss is the key.

Good GOD you are hard to please! LOL

Kidding. I also had to have just the right pipe or at least as close to it as I can get, given what is out there. I do like the shape of the Yoshi R55 better than the Brock's CT dual pipes, but I had to have duals. its a tradeoff. Nothing is going to be *exactly* what you want, as far as looks, sound, and increased output.

But if the Yoshi R55 came in a dual system, I'd have that right now. I like the shape so well because it graduallyl increases in diameter from the pipe's diameter. All the others flair out all at once from the pipe. THe Yoshi is a flowing shape.

The r55 is sexy but I really like the sound of the 77's. So much that I just bought a pair.
