2010 Special Edition ZX14 For Sale
08/23/15 1:02 PM

Hello guys,
I have had my 14 for a little over a year and have decided it is time to sell and move on to something else. There is nothing wrong with the bike, I have loved it, I just don't keep my bikes very long as I want to own as many different bikes as I can! I did remove all the tribal graphics as it was too ricey for my taste but I want to fully disclose everything possible. Pictures and a full write up can be seen here.

I purchased the bike factory stock from the original owner (a middle aged attorney who babied it-still had oem tires at 6000 miles) and it is absolutely excellent condition. He had been running shell synthetic oil and changed it every 2000 miles. Quick low down is BMC airfilter, sato racing full titanium exhaust system, ivan's block off plates and pair valve delete, blue LED running lights, 6500K bulbs in all 4 headlights, quick release anodized silver/black gas cap, silver/black anodized adjustable shorty clutch and brake levers, anodized silver oil cap, genmar risers, progrip grips, Yoshimura fender eliminator, new header gaskets with the exhaust install, new OEM plugs last year and the ecu has Cblast's flash in it, runs AMAZING! I have the matching left side foot peg mount from Sato on the bike so no stupid looking mismatched mounts. Clutch/brake fluid is bled regularly(I think 3 times since I've owned it) and I change the oil and filter every 2000 miles with Royal Purple Max Cycle 10W-40 and purolator pure one PLl4610 filters. I actually just changed the oil and filter this morning and will be flushing the brake and clutch fluid this coming week provided it doesn't sell before I get to it. Chain maintenance happens weekly as I commute to work on the bike and I wash and wax it regularly as well. I don't reem the bike out to death either, some spirited riding for sure but it is always allowed to warm up before taking off (usually about 5 minutes on a cold start) and I ride it a minimum of 5 miles before ANY serious throttle application so you'd be hard pressed to find one that's been better cared for. This bike has been at redline maybe 5 times since I've owned it. Bike has brand new Michelin PR4's fitted with less than 2000 miles on them and brake pads are still in great shape too. Bike has 14xxx miles and will go up until I sell as I ride it daily as weather permits. Of the 8000 miles I have put on it 7000 of them probably are running back and forth to work on the interstate~not much time for riding for pleasure. Open to reasonable cash or cash plus trade offers depending on what you are looking to trade(no other bikes considered for trade~Mostly interested in cars/trucks or 'target implements'). Price is $8500 OBO. The OEM seat cowl is not on the bike in the pictures but I do have it and it is in excellent condition as well. I don't have a lot of time to cruise the forums (work too much) so easiest ways to reach me are via email at 502cghorr01@gmail.com or on the phone/text at 5025262228.
