Portland north west? That's where I am. Great riding areas so far but still new to the area as as far as riding goes.

Just returned from the 1st overnight trip of the year on my 14R (now that the weather and roads have improved).

500+ miles each day of twisty roads and zero slab, to Eastern Oregon.

The bike performed flawlessly, had to limp home on a bald rear tire though

Weather has been the suck for the last month, and will remain that way for a while

Kawis are winterized and waiting for warm weather and sunshine.

Here are some more pics from this last riding season, which was epic for me.

And one of my favorites of all time:

COME ON SPRING...

Mine are under covers with the tenders plugged in too. A friend wants to try and make a run up Hurricane Ridge one of these days if we get a break in the weather. Not holding my breath. Usually a break in the weather means its going to be cold!

I would love to get a run out to Neah Bay, if the weather ever cooperates. Probably wait for Late Spring or Summer...

Got out yesterday for a short ride on my 14R, first time on it for 6 months!

Had to take it easy, new front and rear rubber installed.

Can't wait for the first real ride, but even the short one yesterday felt fantastic!

Nice pictures! It feels great to get the bike out of hibernation.

Took mine for a nice ride yesterday, after replacing the rear tire. Can't wait for the warm weather to arrive. Maybe I'll create a new thread and post a picture later tonight!

Got my big ZX out to Southern Washington and Eastern Oregon for a solo ride yesterday and today, just over 1,00 miles total.

The seasons are definitely changing, but I enjoyed the cooler weather and colorful leaves. The multitude of deer, not so much.

Beautiful roads. If only I could just live there and everywhere else that has fun roads. Give me the lotto and I would go nomad, live on the fun roads or buy a state and make it into all fun roads. New law! No boring roads!

What or how is the radar detector attached to the windshield? What great views and roads.

Escort 9500, with windshield mount epoxied to the inside of the windscreen and custom mount supporting it from underneath.

Required equipment on a bike such as this.
