How much do you pay every year? I just got a bill from the DMV say ing that the total for this year is $320... My bike is a zx14r 2012.

In Pennsylvania I only paid $18.00 dollars. My bike is 2010 ZX-14.

$320 ! Damn that too high ! Even in liberal CA it $155 for a 2012 ZX14R .....

Aloha, alohaalex! Bought my 2012 new in March of 2012 out in Pahrump. First registration pay up was like yours. About 320. Last one dropped to 285. Keep in mind we live in a broke, democratic run, tax and spend state. It hurts, but remember what you get to ride. Just don't smile about it, they'll tax that too.

In Georgia I just paid $20 for my tag fee on my 2012 ZX-14R.
My 1979 CBX cost me $20 tag fee plus $1.14 for ad valorem tax for a total of $21.14.
Georgia only recently stopped collecting ad valorem taxes on vehicles. I guess they figure that if they're collecting 7% sales tax at time of purchase then that's enough. Had they not changed their taxation method then I would have owed $164.89 on my ZX.

We pay sales tax on vehicles in my state when you first register. My fee was $1097.14 for my first set of plates on the 14R. The Husky was $575.61.
You even pay sales tax when you buy a used bike. Yep, the state gets to collect taxes on a vehicle purchase every time it gets re-sold.
If you take taxes out, registration of the 14R was $206.80.

Same in Kalifornia, it's called extortion, like MOST taxes ..... But hey, I guess someone has to pay for the 10 Billion a year on healthcare (alone) for illegal aliens, yea, that's right, I said billion ......
