Ok guys I have done a few mods this summer and will hopefully start more this fall. I've got a list of what I plan on doing and will appreciate if you guys could tell me the best brands. My 14 is a work in progress so don't hesitate to give me a specific brand even if you think it's a little pricy (think super stock kinda bike). Here's the list:

-1 front sprocket and speedohealer and harness
Velocity stack (do I really need this?)
Lighter Rotors (I'm thinking about galfers new super bike rotors)
For the stainless steel braided brake lines I'm thinking about Goodridge or Spiegler whatever comes cheaper!
Since I'm gona be down there I wanna replace the brakes pads as well

Am I going to need to change the map after I switch sprocket and install the velocity stacks?

-1 front sprocket really helps to wake the bike up, great inexpensive mod. Somewhere I read about the Zephyr factory sprocket which I ordered from my local dealer which is rubber coated and very "quiet".
As far as velocity stacks go, I installed them on my bike and did not notice any difference. As I type this my bike is on a dyne being tuned, very curious to see real world HP numbers.
Lighter rotors sound like a nice touch but I would personally wear the ones out you have then upgrade them, but that's me and "everyone has their own preference". I will be putting a set on my bike when I need to.
Stainless brake lines are good, I noticed a nice difference in lever sensitivity, the stainless don't give at all. As far as brand goes, I would not go for the cheapest but rather a good quality line. Is your life really worth the $20 difference in cost for an "off brand" as opposed to a good quality line?
Changing your sprocket will not affect your mapping at all but I think the velocity stacks might, not sure about that but it will change the profile air flows into your throttle bodies.

Thanks Seno. I'm looking into that. I'm gonna ditch the velocity stacks and maybe try a high flow filter just for kicks

oh! What correction ratio are you using for the speedo healer. Are the 1s from the speedo website accurate!!!?

I honestly don't recall what correction ratio I am using. When I wanted to setup my Speedo, I used Velcro to attach a GPS and got my MPH exact at 55. Then programmed the speed healer appropriately. A great tool is the top speed recall, which I wired into a hidden switch and can see exactly how fast someone goes on my bike.

Lighter Rotors (I'm thinking about galfers new super bike rotors)

Careful. I'm not sure if they are as Viby as these at slow speeds but,,,,,. Big bucks to risk. What are they 800 plus. These ones will give you a idea at half the price.

Velocity stack (do I really need this?)

Love my short stacks. Would do this one again in a heart beat.

For the stainless steel braided brake lines I'm thinking about Goodridge or Spiegler whatever comes cheaper!

I got the Galfer. Not overly impressed. Flipped them back forth a few times to sort out the best way to have banjo fitting. No Troubles since but,,,, ?

maybe try a high flow filter just for kicks

Best one IMO. Have them all.

Gotcha Seno!

Hey Roman!

Sweet rotors you got there. Nice wheels too!!! You MODsho!!! loool Are those rotors Galfers? I want the best I can afford when it comes to rotors but I'm not willing to take an $800 gamble. Yeah I was thinking about the pipercross myself.

Now some old timers told me that when i'm gna drop 1 gear in front my cruising rpm gna increase. He gave me a ratio to calculate but I forgot! True or false

Loool.
Tell me about your 17-45 sprokets. I see that blue has been on it since u told him to try it!!! What kinda rpm u get at highway speed (65-75mph)? how it is that I won't have to change my map if I change gear ratio? Quality sprockets? I wanna go with the DID x chain (bling-bling) what lenght do I need?

What kinda rpm u get at highway speed

3500 RPM will give you around 60mph and 4000 aroung 70mph

Quality sprockets?

I always ran Vortex light weight sprockets. Allot of guys don't like aluminium but keep your chain free of grit and they will last, did 4 me anyway. I'm now running Marchesini Aluminium Sprockets 17/45 Same shit. They now have some real nice hybrid sprockets.

what lenght do I need?

120 rings a bell ?

I'll give you this dragking, your doing all your mods up front. Allot of guys take there time and when they are finished they sell the bike without a chance to really enjoy what they have created. The 14 loves her mods. Enjoy. Cheers.

I wish I could have done all of them at once! But $$$$$$$! NEXT? Suspensions are next, actually if they price is not to high I will get that before I change sprockets and rotors: the idea behind that goes like this... I feel like the stock suspensions doesn't allow me to push the bike as I'd like to. I'm thinking RaceTech or Ohlins, The Bitudo shock look sexy as well but again $$$$$. When it comes to the money/function ratio Racetech seems to make more CENTS (loool for HUB).

What about you Romans are you getting the new 14?

loool. I hear you. I was going to make fun of Dogo, it must suck to get a bike just in time to winterize it, then if it's new you still have to break it in during the spring.

I have got an idea just ship it to me. I'll keep it warm for you!
