OM says 12 V 14 Ah.
The battery is a 12 Volt, right?
My battery maintainer has a 6V/12V selector and I just want to make sure I have it set right.

Yep, 12 volt. If your charger has the "trickel" setting use that. With that setting the charger just put's a minimum amount of amperage to the battery. That way you don't have to worry about the battery getting hot and running low on water.

Thanks, Phil. Yup I have the Schuemaker for the 14 and it automatically regulates from charge to float.
Picked up a Battery tender Junior for the busa today. Smaller but not any better than the 20 dollar Schuemaker.
BTW, the directions for attaching pigtails say to attach ring lug to a ground on the frame. That is how I grounded the 14's battery pigtails but I am not sure about where to ground the busa just yet. Think it would be okay to just attach the negative pigtail to the negative battery terminal until I find a good ground screw on the frame?
