Wow that was instering to watch. I have the same bike as u but with a full brocks exhaust and a lil bit more gearing and what a difference. My bike would walk away from that bike pretty good. But im also alot lighter than you. If you are lookin for more power just get a full exhaust and drop a tooth up front and trust me u will have a new bike.

Yep everyone else does. Besides the power boost the stock exhaust if fuckin hideous. But to each their own i guess. I couldn't stand driving around with thst stock exhaust. It was embarrassing pulling up next to other bikes with that big ass missles on your bike.

Nice video. Your video says it was recorded in Mexico. How many hours it takes you to get there from Nebraska? btw, be very careful with the Mexican police. Don't do anything out of the ordinary, or you will be picked up and thrown in jail.

Hey ZX14Racer '
How many teeth are on the stocker front gear and where did you purchase the new gear from?
Thanks

Went down one tooth in the front to a 16 tooth sprocket. Best bet is go to kawi dealer and get a kawi made front sprocket because it has the rubber dampner in it and its very smooth. If u go after market sprocket it will be pretty noisey and vibey.I forget the sprocket # but it comes off an older kawi.Search it up many people have done it.

+1
I tried the sunstar front sprocket without dampening and I couldn't stand it. Later I tried a zx11D sprocket. The chatter from the sunstar sprocket was annoying and the zx11 sprocket made the bike feel like it spun up too quickly. I wound up going back to the stock sprocket and adding teeth(41t to a 45t) to the rear sprocket and a new chain(stretched the bike at the same time, so the added cost was not an issue.)
I fell in love with my (2006) bike all over again after getting the sprockets hashed out. On the performance side, removing the flies and adding Brock's exhaust was sheer perfection for me. I am hoping the flies are not as much of an issue on the 2012. The stock gearing of the 14 is not low enough for me, so I can see maybe dropping a tooth up front and adding a speedohealer.
