What this "bracket" or whatever it is bolted to right hand fork anyone?

Look for a round plastic ring [note plastic rings on fender holding hoses on the fender], only smaller. That ring snaps into that hole. Follow the switch harness down farther to find it. If not there, zip-tie the switch harness and whatever harness is next to it is where the ring holds more than one harness [if any].

Looks like a Gen1 by the gauge face, Darned if I remember any of those octopus beak/ring thingamajobs there. Good call Hub.
