Question? When I hit the throttle my bike hesitates. It will not get faster until the higher RPMs. Does anyone know what this could be?

Dirty air filter, fouled plugs, clogged fuel filter AKA fuel pump!!! I hope it is one of the first 2!

Update... I replaced the plugs and checked the air filter none of that solved it. It's getting gas so I took it to a shop. I was told the clutch is slipping. I first noticed the problem yesterday. I can pull the throttle back but only so much power goes to the rear tire.

When your clutch is slipping RPM’s will climb but bike will not accelerate is that what you are experiencing?

Yes Cooter thats exactly the problem. If I hit the throttle fast the bike will remain very slow but if I roll on the gas slowly the bike will accelerate. I learned to ride on my zx14 so I will admit to clutching way too much at the beginning. I know not to ride the clutch at this point. Just apart of that learning curve I guess. Does anyone know which clutch kit would be better to avoid this from happening again?
