Traction control
07/29/13 2:27 AM

Hi all,

Would like to know how effective the traction control is. Do you guys use it as a default or do you switch it off?

What is the seat of the pants difference on the 3 modes?

This would be for normal street riding (sometimes a little bit of a hooliganism thrown in) with the occasional aggressive cornering in a mountain pass or two.

It works great, very impressed.

I let it default to one as I know I will forget it off if I flash it into the ECU. 95% street riding.

What is the seat of the pants difference on the 3 modes?

Major diff between 1 and 3. Any water or sand 3 cuts her down Quick. I spent some time testing. All Good. Nice feature.

I like F2 as I dont like unexpected wheelies. 2 keeps the front wheel on the ground or just hovering above it at full throttle. Gives me a lot more confidence. As Roman said 3 is very intrusive and is good in rain or very slippery conditions.

This is like an oil thread, everyone has their opinions and noone is wrong. In normal weather I keep it turned off. I feel it is a little bit more responsive with it off. I never ride above TC1 though unless rain, then right to tc3.

Omega your kiddin right???? And you me Tc2. There is TC levels 1-3 and Full power or low power. But as long as your not pinning the throttle in the first 3 gears and I mean pinning or going around corners with the throttle opened up pretty good, this bike is just fine in full power and tc1 or no tc at all. This big girl is a pussy cat if your gentle with her.

Sounds Fun. Hey, maybe yours is faster than mine lol.

2nd. Throttle plates Never open more than 60% in low mode, 40% more bike waiting for you.

Try F mode TC-3 just to get a feel for her. That will keep you safe. Let us know if you need new undeeeees.

All that trac control does is cut power when tires rotate out of sync! I have yet to engage it in the rain. Been caught three times this year and no trac set. Have to agree with Beast the wrist is the track control for me too!
