Has anyone put a aftermarket shift light on their bike yet? I think that will be my next purchase. The stock one sucks compared to my 05 Gixxer, it was big,white and bright.

I did not know we had one on the zx14. I've seen the one on my zx10. I heard some folks were tapping into the "stock" (shift-light wire) and then adding a relay & shiftlight.

Yea mine came on like 5 times before I realized what is was, little amber light, it sucks. These things are so fast its hard to watch the road and tach.

That is a NICE setup, however you could buy a used PC mult hub and an inexpensive shift light (only) and get more bang for your buck. That hub can activate your shiftlight and much more. Just a thought.
