Fit Problem w/Roaring ToyzUniversal Peg Mount License Plate Tag Bracket
04/03/14 5:56 PM

Ok I purchased the Universal Peg Mount License Plate Tag Bracket from RoaringToyz and before I made the purchase, I contacted tech department asking would this work with dual exhaust and the reply was yes. Well I'm not seeing how it suppose to work with an exhaust?? The bracket is hitting the hanger flange that holds the canister on the foot peg. If someone is using this bracket w/a exhaust please share your secret.

Okay maybe you guys can tell me how to find a bolt M8X1.25X50MM I think I can get this bracket to work if I find a longer version of it. So far I've checked with Home Depot Advance Auto with no luck. Any Ideals would help.

Find a farm and fleet type store. Or mom and pops hardware store. It's gonna be your best bet for finding metric bolts. Or ask your dealership if they have any bolts laying around that will work.

So far no luck on finding this bolt at any local venders, I've tried Pepboys Advance, Lowes, HomeDepot, Autozone and O'Reilly's. May have to return it.

I'm going to move my plate so it clears things. This looks good right here. I'm going to jam some books or jam rags between the wheel and fender bracket to hold it in place or whatever it takes while the glue dries. Homehe dunt need no stink'inn hardware and waste gas going to every stink'inn dead end. Then, just pull it off when I put it back to stock.

I glued a steel bar on the head, just below the valve cover. I glued the license plate bracket onto a trailer taillight, then glued the license plate to the bracket.

Did the hot head 'wit the fan coming on all the time' drop the rod off the head? No.
Did I transfer the same trailer light from the 14 to the R and she is still holding fine? Yes.
Did you think this home he would drill, file, fuck up an OE part? No.
Did he say NOLTT as he laughs and sees one struggle at it and all that time at it was just a glue drop away? Yep.
Did he say mail it back I love the look but how do I put it on when the phone jerk lied just to say yes is what I wanted to hear but I called him on it before I bought it. Now what?

Why, this is a job for Goop brand glue and I have yet to receive a dime promoting this shit works for me, I guess it just ain't gonna happen for some picnic with a mm short, is it?

Nice pipe and wheels btw.

Singed,

NOLTT glue tricks

Well Hub, so you know the reason I'm wanting to relocate my license plate is because I'll be extending my swing arm +6 and lowering it. If I don't need to relocated it then I'll be good to go but chances are I will.

Do you have a True Value or Ace Hardware store in your area? I have great luck finding stainless metric stuff locally at either one of those.
