If you're in the market, ammo has come down to reasonable prices.

I've used SGAmmo.com a few times over the years, and have always got everything I ordered, with free shipping over $200. My last order was placed on a Thursday evening and I received it the following Tuesday.

9mm 1000 $260, several leading brands, Winchester, S&B, PMC, new brass FMJ

Winchester has a 20% rebate up to $75 on some rifle rounds (5.56 included), 5.56 $.42/rd after rebate

.22LR can be had for around 7 cents/round for some premium brands.

You might consider stocking up if that's your bag. It's possible some ammo prices may continue to drop, but IMO probably not significantly from this point.

Shipping is where they get you online. Buddy of mine reloads, we shoot a couple hundred round of various calibers once a week.I think that a couple dozen loaded mags in basic calibers and a good ceramic plated vest will do one well.

Yeah you either pay a bit more and get free shipping (which is just included in the price) or pay less and pay for shipping separately. CPR vs. TCPR is not always equal.

As as EDC I wouldn't normally carry FMJ, but "carry" ammo is also available and of course cheaper than it was few months ago. It's still more expensive that I'm seeing in the 2019 era (rising demand). But target ammo is back to around 2019 prices at least.
