My GSXR clicked bad when shifting between 1st and 2nd which ended up in a couple fried tranny gears I had replace, was never the same after that. But that bike didn't have nearly the toughness of our bikes much less any modern bike. I shoulda sprung for the undercut on that poor ole GSXR.

Glad it was just an old chain! (so far)

This is what i do at work cool jod hu i get to look at my bike all night watch tv and surf the net.
Ohhhhhh, Edgeeee... See that? You bringing in a gearbox, I'm still thinking gearbox. COOT is going to change something that might not need changing...

Hub It makes the clicking sound in neutral if I push the bike up and down the street not running and 1st – 6th running I looked at my sprockets and chain over the weekend and noticed a lot of wear on sprockets and f..king sand in the chain must have kicked some sand up riding FL is a big sand box plus I have 18,000 + miles on this beast with original sprockets and chain and noticed some of the rollers on my chain are seized. And to make things worse I just sprung the notorious oil leak so I will have to get some washers this weekend to fix that because im still ridding her every day my wife drives cars I ride bikes.

Notice Hub was speaking in proper English in his last post... that means he really wanted you to understand what he was saying. Evidently, you're chain sounds like it's had it and I don't think that's a waste, but after you install a new chain and sprockets (always replace sprockets with chain BTW) do what Hub suggests as long as you got it up in the air. Just listen to the noise the tranny makes as the rear wheel spins with the engine off and the bike in gear. Unfortunately, this IS better done without the resistance of the plugs.

BTW, I didn't make any notes about oil leaks. Is there something I missed?

I changed the chain and sprockets over the weekend and what a change smooth as butter I want to thank Rook for the sprocket change how to very informative did the whole change in 2 hours now she feels brand new again so now all I need is tires again and I should probably change the plugs soon. ps. I left sprocket size stock that’s how I like it.
