Hard to improve on Black Ischevy

I did see an interesting idea on the TV program Motorcycle Experience. Their roving reporter, who test rode a 2006 ZX-14 and was so impressed that he turned around and sold his Bussa and bought a 2007 ZX-14, had his bike decked out with a graphic decal. It looked like an expensive air brush paint job. He indicated that any digitized image could be put onto the decal material and then applied to a bike. He placed his on the hard tail cover. The bonus with this approach is low expense and the ability to easily change down the road. The detail they can print these days on 3M material is awesome.

Love the look of the single short pipe.

What color was your bike originally? And how much did it cost to have it repainted?

What is the website name for the graphics decal?

Thanks for the replies everyone. my bike was blue, the reason I went with black is because I wanted the scary but clean look. What looks scarier than a black ninja? lol I'm thinking about buying the carbon fiber ram air covers with a small splash of chrome

They never mentioned the name of the company that printed the graphic decal during the episode. I am told that most high end sign shops can do produce this. If you have trouble finding a shop to do it you could try contacting the host of Motorcycle Experience. I found his contact info on the shows website.

david@whistlestoptv.com (Dave Hatch is his name)

The image was a photo of a Japanese Monk who is asking assistance of the god Raijin. It is said that the god delivered a "divine wind" and wiped out the invading Mongol fleet. The survivors that did make it to shore were slain. The Japanese word for "divine wind" is Kamikaze. I was able to find a link to provide a little information of the myth/story. I wonder if the expression "raging wind" comes from this story?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kamikaze_%28typhoon%29

In another episode of Motorcycle Experience they stated that it was not the manufacture or the Japanese that named our beloved beasts Ninja. It was the marketing of North America that suggested it. A worthy and well deserved name. The ninja line of bikes is a force to be reckoned with, slaying anything in their path (especially Hardly Dangerous tractors)

OMG she's clean! I would add some subtle Red Kawi and zx14 badging to match your plate on the exhaust. Any particular cleaner, polish, or wax you used?

Maybe the chrome 3d ZX14 logos somewhere on the upper and a little red not to much though it already looks nice just as it is!
