I am lost here Hub

I am only replying because seldom does "HUB" say something I can understand or his post was so short he couldn't confuse me.
We really do need some emoticons for fun.

Because I am totally new to any type of sport bike world and I enjoy spinning the wrench around I needed a place where info was plenty and people had a sense of humor. The old site was that way plus while youns would have fun with a nubi it was not so bad that the nubi felt like they were being chased off.
The old system must have been around long enuf that almost any thing that could be done to a 14 was on there - both trial and error then the success stories. With that kind of info at hand it saves one a ton of cash from making the errors.

OK it was also Hubs style of explanation that kept me intrigued.

So I'm cruising along-130mph or so.Got my throttlemiester set -good.Everything's just ducky.Leanin' in on the tank,nice sweeper comin up.I'm not doin anything but enjoyin my bike.BING BING-out go the lights!!I mean EVERYTHING!She just stops runnin.The red lights are on the dash-you know the ones-showin NO oil pressure,and that "other"one,don't know what that is.Okay,miester off,coast to a stop.WTH&^%?Sittin there-the car I JUST passed-they're goin by-you know,laughin and pointin.Sh&*.I'm thinkin-God,what now?So I tries everything.Ok-kickstand up,pull in clutch-hit starter-sh*(,nothin!I KNOW I'm gettin power-my IDIOT lights are on.I'm a long way from home here-I can't push her all the way! And I aint leavin her here by the side of the road.Geez-Neutral light "on"-okay,that's good.Push starter-ZEEEROO!What the HE$%?. JUST HAPPEN TO LOOK OVER AT MY THROTTLE-"SH&*,that RED button doesn't look right.Isn't it supposed to be pushed "IN" at the bottom?Geez-what an IDIOT.Push button in at bottom-hit starter-Whooom!Fires right up!Now take big deep breath-ahh,that's better.Just a heads up for ya'll-when all else fails,disengage KILL SWITCH(At least I know it works now) Ride safe all(yeah,I hit it with my palm and didn't realize(DUH)Oh and BTW-this forum ROCKS!!!!
