2013 ABS ZX-14R and Vortex Rearsets
04/30/13 6:52 PM

Can someone please confirm if Vortex rearsets are compatible with ABS models? I believe I've seen posters who have them, but Vortex just told my distributor they won't work properly when he tried to order a set for me.

Any info (or suggestions on possible modifications to get them to work) would be much appreciated.

I received an email from Vortex today, quote" there should not be any complications setting these up on an ABS model. "
I have just now ordered a set of Vortex RS441K rearsets, so when they arrive I shall take pictures of installing them, & post them up here.
If you do order them, don't forget to get the brake switch! (around $23.00)

So I installed these today (no pictures yet) There are no problems with installing these on an ABS bike in the standard position. However if you want to go back & up you will need to replace the brake line that goes between the ABS pump & the slave cylinder (part #43060B) with a flexible one. I don't know the measurement yet, but will get to that next time I have the tank off.
Rook I see what you mean regarding the lack of nuts for the gear lever side, somewhat disappointing.
Other than that I am very happy with the fit & finish of these.
Pictures sooooon!
