I finally jumped back into the game and my previous board name was 07Blanco. Its good to be back!
Tis the season to start riding and blowing money on tires. I am pleased to see many familiar names on the board.
I am not sure what happened to the previous board but it is good to have a home!

Hi again,HMFIC. That is your bike in the avitar, I presume? Really nice looking. I plan to paint the rims white on my 08 MSBlue bike. I always loved the white 14s and I gotta say, the white rims look spectacular with it.

that is my bike in the avatar.
I know I was one of the first if not the first to go with white wheels on an SE 14. On the old board, I posted pics of my "stripped back" SE with White wheels. My only flaw now are the cans that do not match the scheme of the bike. I originally ordered Scorpion Stainless slip ons but I received the more expensive titanium ones instead...hence the color. SInce I was getting the parts at cost through Parts Unlimited, and I could not wait to ditch the stock exhausts, I kept them.
I will warn you ahead of time that kepping those wheels clean is a bitch. I did nowever discover through trial and error that the GOJO orange with a slight abrasive is the best cleaner in the world for these wheels. The powdercoating has little microscopic pits that hold crud that even Simple Green will not work 100%. Also, the GOJO has some magic stuff that melts oil and grime as well.

if i had ur bike, id put some blue lights on it and ride around making siren noises.......it would scare the shite outof some of those car drivers anyway!! lol
