Hey Rook
I just installed the LSL frame sliders, they came with two black bolt covers, how do you remove them without destroying them? Thanks

Here are two pics Rook of what I'm talking about the bolt cover. This is also for anybody with info how to remove them w/o damaging them.

...mine does not come with that, either. Whoever installed the sliders should know how the plugs come out. There would be no way to install these if the plugs were in.
I would contact Spiegler corp and ask about this.
I know you said "I just installed" but perhaps you meant "I just had these installed." Is it posssible that whoever did the work put the plugs in as an add-on? They look nice but I have never seen that before if that is an LSL design update.
If you are just curious, I would try something really sticky like super strength double sided mounting tape and try twisting / pulling one out. Unless it is glued, it should pull out or maybe thread out?? Like I said, the post, puck and delrin insert cannot be installed unless there is an open hole through all. The delrin and puck are meant to be replaced after a crash so that cap should come off if you want it off.

I installed the frame sliders myself. What happened was, I had placed one of them just barley onto the slider opening just so I wouldn't loss them and I ended up bumping into it and pushed it all the way in. To get it back out I had to use my small jewelers screw driver to get it outand even then it I was nicking it up. Just thought it was a better way. But I will try your suggestion using doublesided sticky tape.

If the tape wont work, you might drill a small pilot hole and screw a sheet metal screw in there. Then pull on that. You would have to patch the hole with bondo (or something) and then shoot it with a coat of matt black. Rust-Oleum black primer has a slight sheen. Looks like it would work out ok. ...Or try the new spray on black Plastidip. That would work.
Or just email Spiegler ans ask for replacements. You did not do the final torque yet did you....? bummer.
