slippery seat

I just had Sargent rework my stock seat to lower it 1". They did a quality job and the seat looks great. BUT, their seat covering material is more slippery than stock and I'm sliding all over it under hard acceleration. Does anyone know how I can fix this? Perhaps something I can treat the seat with? Thanks.

Triboseat makes a great butt grip pad for the passenger seat. I think they may have the same material for riders seat. Check them out....Tribo Seat, triboseat??? IDK how they spell it. It is a great product. plastic gel mesh. Nice sticky stuff, no residue but lots of grip.

Spray glue on it... that's about the only thing that will make it tacky again....and ruin the seat to boot.
I think you might be hooped and may have to get it recovered - atleast in that butt area.....
I followed wolfman's route and had mine redone with Jetski seat material - that is sticky so you don't slide off
when it's wet.... it is super tacky.

Ride it a while and it will wear the slick off a bit. Sun will help also. Maybe even wash it with a dish detergent.
