One problem I have, because I'm fat, is I cannot get heated clothing which is big enough to be comfortable.
I can get unheated gear large enough, no problem.
I posted about Kustom Komfort some time ago, they made the 0-100% variable controls for me which I mounted in the electrical pod I put on a stem tube ram mount. These are attached to BMW sockets (2) so I have two seperate, 10A, circuits for heated gear.
Turns out, Kustom Komfort sells a heating kit for liners, which they have sold for 3 decades to snow rescuse teams, including polar Coast Guard and Navy applications. They provide heavy gauge coated wires which are easy to insert inside liners or quilted gear (for example), and can even be removed if you need to replace the liner.
These kits provide really good heat, and you can arrange the wires to get what you want. Instructions are good, and they show common arrangements.
So since I have a good quilted liner in my Cortech jacket, and the jacket is waterprooof, I think I'll use that liner for my test case.
Kustom Komfort will put any length cord on your want, but I want to use a BMW coiled cord with the (of course) BMW plug on it. So I'll just have to solder it to the provided cord "inside" the liner, and then anchor the cord in the liner so it won't pull out. Pretty easy to do.
Cost to get a headed jacket? $30.00 ! Not bad.
Once I find a pair of pants with a liner big enough, I'll do the pants too. I may have to look elsewhere than motorcycle clothing because nobody has anything big enough to fit with the liner installed.
Well, I'm going to the doctor next week, I think I'll ask about getting my stomach stapled, that will solve that problem. LOL.
