17500 miles
07/22/14 7:13 AM

Just checking in. Just went over 17500 without a single issue. Did all the basic mods but didn't do the reflash cause Im happy enough. Bike running good and the paint has held up nice. Got the green one with the flames.

Was thinking about adding a S1000RR to my garage but I don't have enough money. Started searching for something sweet in the $7500 to $8000 dollar price range and finally found a 2011 CBR1000RR. I picked it up for $7800. Came with slipon, PC5, hot cams and some other nice goodies. It has 6600 miles on it.

It runs nice and is a blast to ride. I was told that out of all the liter bikes the Honda was the most forgiving and easiest to ride fast on the track. I haven't had it on the track but I will admit its a fun bike and pretty comfy to. Ive ridden the KTM 1190, BMW and its def more comfy than those to. The ZX10 to me has a pretty comfy rding position to.

Well that's it Im floating around. Broke up with my girl so Ive had alot more time to goof off and ride. Oh one more thing I let my buddy whos the service manager ride the Honda. He thought it was very ratty down low. It has a 2 Brothers without tip. I heard the same thing he said put a tip in that thing for a number of reasons. One the idle will smooth out and it wont be so loud and ratty down low.

Well its true its like riding a different bike. Smooth down low right where I like it. I wish I could say I was a great rider but that's not the case Ive been riding since 81 and the only reason Im still here is Im a lucky fucker... As George Preddy said Id rather be lucky than good...

Im down south so I don't have pictures of the new little bike but its black cool little thing.

Still the 14R has my heart and its like the big school bus.. Easy on my fat ass...

Later guys stay safe...

Creeps..

I wasn't aware of how much the 14R could feel like a bicycle until I rode my brothers Kawasaki vulcan 1500. I climbed back on my bike and it felt fake it was so light. I don't see how people ride those damn things.
