There's a bunch of em coming up for sale on FB lately. Good solid low milers too.

Just out of curry wolf... Why do you need a spare? Is it out of fear of blowing up and you have a back-up? Not meant to be a dick comment or anything.... im sure rick or matt have mentioned that it makes more sense to build your motor now and save the mulla. IF it blows are you planning to go back to stock N/A?
And LOL to the opening NorthernKaw comment... Me-naw-sayin-nuttin!

Hey bro!
I buy zx14r motor. Spray it with 100 shot we'd be looking at 6500. If I big bore build mine and spray it I'd be looking at 12500. Options.
Or I could buy motor, build and run 100 shot safe and have stock motor should I "extend" myself.
Either way Beast is not safe!
Mad love,

Ill give you my reasoning and you can take it or leave it... But i was in the same situation.
You buy N2O set up for your bike - x dollars
Bike survives... But you are running a safe (slow ;P) set-up
Like Romans says... Greed gets us.
Say it blows because you are going 100 shot (and not puttig money into motor) to chase down beastie
New engine (stock) - y dollars + build cost
N2O going back on? Yes - same problems, need better parts... No - x dollars out of pocket + build cost
Ok... N2O was freaking badass... Dont want stock... What a piece of crap that was... Damn have to eat rebuild sandwich. Parts plus build cost
Rebuild - z dollars
Moral of the story... Invest now... Spend the dollars to do it right and safe... Save $$$ & heartache later. You saw what happened to beast and myself... We cut corners and we ate rebuild sandwich... Which was very expensive and taste like crap.
Cant wait to see your set-up... Bike looks proper so far.

Faker has a good point. Winter is long dreary. Take the opportunity and time mother winter provides us and do it right. Build that motor to be literally bomb proof.

I'VE SEEN SOME THESE BOMB PROOF MOTORS MAKE 1 PASS AND SPLIT IN HALF. OPPS $15,000.00 in the shitter.
i'll take my chances with 3 stock motors for 15k and part out what I didn't break
