Yea Trc I was going to mention that too, you really sound like a solid kid. Are you riding that 14R on the street and keeping out of trouble? If so that's very commendable.

I'm 35 now, here's what I did. I live in Colorado and toured my balls off from age 20-30. I also rode my mountain bike all the time and played a shit load of awesome video games. I had no idea what I wanted to do with my life and was severly depressed for most of those 10 years. I was working a shit job in a restaurant the entire time with very few friends and no girlfriends. Riding was my life and I've got 100,000 miles worth of purely recreational miles to prove it. Crash free btw.

I rode to California 7 times and even wrote a book about my experiences and how it added such glory to my life. I got laid off from that restaurant job in '08 and was lucky enough to get an entry level job in the surgery dept of a hospital during the recession no less. I fell in love with a girl there that I could have married, we moved into together then she broke up with my 2 months later because I don't want kids, but I still wouldn't trade that experience for nothing and she wasn't for me anyway.

So now, purely because of this job and that girl, I'm nearly done with a medical technologist degree and feel very good about my life, something I felt was impossible in '03 the first time I rode to Califoria.

The bottom line is this: If you don't know what you want to do by now you probably won't for many many years. Enjoy your youth. Racing could be your calling and excellent motivation to lose that weight. Your metabolism, muscle mass your physical health in your teenage years, set the tone for the rest of your life.

Everything works out in the end.

And go see a urologist!

Yeah rook I'm a junior, well I was till they kicked me out for having a little drink in class which is bullshit because the star girls basketball player was taking naked pics of another girl and sending em out and she only got 20 days out. So misdemenour>felony. But on the other part I kind of hate bitches, all they do is take your time money, and fun. I'm sure there is someone out there but around here they are all stuck up hoes.A combo of seeing my bestfriend become dick whipped and experiences with a few girls tell me I'm doing my own thing for awhile.

Yeah, go to college somewhere besides a local community place. Like a real college, preferably out of state. If you don't think you're smart enough for college, you're wrong. Just takes some work ethic. If you have a passion, study that. Otherwise pic an easy major at random. If you can't afford it, join the Air Force and see the world.

Live some, see some new places, grow up and find yourself. Or at least live some and see new places.

Can't give any better advice than that.

TRC,

Are there no guidance counselors at your school? They should be able to help you with your decisions and even find sources of support as far as future vocational choices and post secondary schooling/training are concerned.

Most of the advice you are getting here about those decisions are quite good. Why not follow-up on some of those that appeal to you with a counselor?

As far as the advice regarding relationships with the opposite sex; try treating women as people and individuals rather than as commodities or as means to an end! Then you may avoid most of the issues raised in this thread by yourself and others. As you grow up and start dating women instead of "girls", you may find a kindred spirit and life partner; I wish you well.

Meanwhile, I agree with Privateer. Any female ZX-14 owner who reads this thread is highly unlikely to join the forum.

If you need more relationship advise than this, you might find "Dear Abby" or "Dr. Phil" helpful. As a last resort, you might try talking to your parents.

All the counslers at my school are a bunch of overpaid slobs. They don't want to talk unless it fits there tight schedule consumed with 2 hour lunches and sitting behind a computer all day. I tell you what the town I live in is so corrupt you give me an hour on national television and I could guarantee at least 5 inditements.
