Hiya Snuffy...I gotta ask ya here...you installed a set of 07 model year duals on your 2012?You mean the header pipes FIT the exhaust ports in there?This doesn't sound right,but....what do I know?I mean...EVERYONE with the new bike was asking IF the earlier model headpipes would fit...and everything I read and heard was..."no...they don't".I will say however,that the set I got...the CT Single...it had instructions for a 2011 in it.

I just went and looked at the bubble wrap for the piping parts...marked 2010 model.WTF?Maybe it was the SLIP ONS that wouldn't fit?But that still is a tad odd to me...that the earlier headers fit right in there.The big "to do" was not being able to use earlier model header pipes on the new bike.Not that it matters now...mine fit right in...but...

I must have misunderstood then...I think now the header pipes worked okay...it was the collector outlet side that was bigger...not the actual header opening.Am I correct in this?Apparently...your set fit okay...all of it.But how did they know the collector outlet would be larger on the 2012...back in 2010?See what I mean?The outlet IS bigger.Did they enlarge the outlet piping back then,and made no changes to it for the 2012?How could that be?I mean...the whole key here is the collector outlet size.Right?

They Went right on No Drama what so ever....I contacted Brock Davidson from Brocks Performance on the matter a few months back to see if they would fit and he said yes with minor shimming to the radiator...But I didn't have to shim anything she went right on ....Hardest part was taking off the freaking plastics!

Ya...they look great....I didn't have any drama either...but...it's a tad strange they were saying they had to fab up new pipes for the 2012.They said that,didn't they?

I didn't have to shim anything either...and mine were marked 2010 as I said....strange....IDK...seems kinda odd to me.

I was under the impression that the new bike would require new diameters on the piping....at least from the collector on back.I tried in vain to get an answer early on just as the new bike was preparing to hit the US.I never got any responses back from ANY of the pipe guys saying...our systems will fit the new bike.Only Vance and Hines....slip-ons...which DID NOT FIT!!!!!(they said they would).

Thats Because Kawasaki didn't let anyone know anything exept for Roaring Toyz and they went to Brock for there pipe so Brocks and Roaring Toyz where the first to know what fits and what didn't.

I wish I could that connection is long gone I picked up the CT's in 2009....I had this exhaust on my 2007 candy plasma blue and before I traded her in a pulled the pipes to put on the 14R.
