Hey all! New to the forum and just want to say hi to everybody. I have an 06 14, and have been in love with my 14 for almost three years. Although I hear the new Busa's are a little faster than a 14, I would like to see that for myself. I have spotted a guy that rides my turf on a new orange Busa. I think I will see if he wants to run through the quarter.
Have any of you guys had the chance to stomp a Busa?

Welcome! I have a '06 and also think it rocks - even if the new 'Busa is faster by a tenth or so, it depends more on the rider than anything else - besides, the rear end of the ZX-14 looks good, unlike the rear of any 'Busa - they remind me of the north end of a south bound hippo.

I figured out what the rear on the busa looks like-It's a miniature of the FRONT!Check it out(without the fender that is).

Who says the new Busa is faster?? Maybe than the '08 14 - but not the '09 14 as far as I've read.

Or a properly tuned and modded Gen 1 either for that matter. Don't ask how I know, LOL.

Well I caught that guy on the new Busa at a redlight, said high, nice bike, blah blah blah. When I ask him if he wanted to hook it up with my 14, he was scared to death. So I said never mind, lose by default! He is one of those guys that never wears a helmet or gear, and you never see him on the back roads. He just rides up and down mainstreet......WTF?
