Do don't get it. Is the tire it's self made of carbon fiber? Or instead of using steel belting they used a carbon fiber belts inside it?

I haven't heard of tires blowing out from excessive speed regardless of rating. If this tire can't handle normal sportbike speed, it will be a big flop. I'd wait tfor the tire specs to be released and get it. The cost might be the real factor.

Not much info out as of yet, since it is a new line of tires that is not on the market yet, I like the idea of a lighter tire, but I do not want to be the guinea pig ....

I'd do it if I needed a tire. How bad could it be? Tires are always way overbuilt. I've done plenty of stuff no one should do with a tire including riding a hundred miles on a flat. I stopped to fill at gas stations about 3 times. Not to be recommended but goes to show how tough a tire is.

^^^yep the only thing you have to worry about is DOT and big company like that isn't going to build a tire that is not going to be reliable.

CF technology in the sidewalls...not the tread.I'll try em out next change depending on the reveiws.I'm really likin these Sportmax 1's....very nice feeling tires....my last set were in really good shape for several thousand miles....several.
