So as not to knuckle under to the dealer for parts I made my own. Placed it over the plastic cover.

I did buy the '08/'09 OEM cover, but I think your fix is just as good. Good job!

Wish I had one of those today Kawnow. Looks really sharp!! Decided to clean my BMC street today. Had a BUNCH of bugs in it but I could still see light through it. But it did look as if the 06 plastic factory cover isn't doing as good a job as I think it should. I think I'll go order an 08/09 OEM cover. Just wish it wasn't so well hidden, read take half the plastic off just to get to it!!!! But at least my well nut's looked good this time.
