Wow.If I was on a road like that I'd be redline in 6th.The roads I live on suck.

You wouldn't be in redline in 6th for long!Those curves are deceptively arched.My main concern is....oncoming traffic.Shit...if they closed both lanes....then it would truly be on.But not how it is now.You see those rises...and 'blind' curves there.Guess what's on the other side....yup....places for people living around there to pull onto the road.At 140..you don't stop...you don't swerve...you hit....and die.Along with them.NOT where I want to be....your world and theirs can change in a heartbeat at those speeds.As much as you tell yourself.."it won't happen now'....it does.All the time.

Oh I see.There is a road by my place is like that.Looks endless but theres a crest you can't see.If you hit that at 150 and a car is passing the other way your screwed.

Yup....I'm driving WAY too fast as it is....The big open ones...ya...you can see for a ways....but most of these here...you really don't KNOW what's around that bend.You aint gonna stop leaned in and 'trying' to avoid something...anything.I'm 'trying' to mello out some.I WAS doing pretty well there for a while;)

Hey Grn14..... I knew you were probably out just having a nice ride somewhere. Nice to see you back. I love the speed run at 23:30 of the first video. Nice to see the leash taken off the beast and let her run free a bit. I laughed when you blew by the other bike around the 27:50 mark (I wondered if it was a Hardly Dangerous tractor.... but I did not see the triangle farm plate.... and you went by too quickly). - LOL

This road reminds me of a few we have in our interior (like sections of the #3 from Princeton to Creston, huge straights that get your speeds up quite high, and long sweepers that beg "faster, faster")

Wow around 19 minutes it got real interesting when you ducked behind that trailer.Then the speedo looked like a tach after 23 minutes.When I got my dynotune I was on this fourlane.This Mustang GT passed me at about 90.I have A GT and they aerent as fast as my bike.So I came beside him about 125 and it was like one of your sweepers.My bike started standing up towards that guardrail and that fear factor kicked it.Had to get off at the next exit.

I take too many risks.One patch of sand....whatever...one deer crossing...toast...that's what I'd be...toast.I don't ride like that very often...some would say it's tame I suppose.It IS afterall...the street.Mainly wanted to show the roads...they ARE very nice here...lots of fun even at 70!I checked my speedo with a roadside speed radar thing...it was only off by 3 mph(35 is actually 32).I think on that fast run...I hit the 186 mark...and beyond.I couldn't actually tell.It looked like it to me...so she may have been topped out...but seriously...I got off the gas BEFORE it was 'limiting'...I know that.You can feel it limit.It wasn't doing that at the end of that one run.So...I think she still had more....just kinda ran out of road there.You know...at those rpm's,that pipe is screamin.I don't like screaming at the people that live along those routes.Makes for bad karma! "hey pa...get yer shotgun...that greenazz bike is coming this way again...."

I'll have to put my flashed ECU in there again and take er for a top out run.Just to see.200 more rpm's...no top speed limiter .I was lookin there...ya...I was shy about 500rpms to the redline....and the speedo was hittin about 190?(which would be around 186,187...somthing like that if the speedo is off by at least 3?I don't know if she would have kept climbing).I don't think I've EVER hit redline in 6th....not on my 07...and that was a true 190.Methinks the gearing is just a bit too short.But not by much

I know this bike will hit 200...with the right gearing on it.

I know mine won't hit top speed with my 16/43 gearing.I got tired of waiting for that perfect road.I have the 190/55/17 series tire so I gained a little gearing.11000 in 6th is supposed to be 184 if it will pull redline which I doubt.

"I laughed when you blew by the other bike around the 27:50"...you should see the TWO 'brothers'...I guess that's what they were...twins or something...I've got er on vid...not up yet.One guy...on a nice Busa...his bro...some sort of Suzuki Cruiser...a nice one...strong.Anyway...I'm comin up behind...just catching up ya know....I follow for a tad...then pull alongside....NEITHER one(they were staggered)even looked over at me.And I mean....I was next to each of em a good 1/2 mile.I give em the thumbs up ya know....props to their bikes...nope...nuthin.Never once even GLANCED over.I'm thinkin...WTH?Couple of cool bikes...too bad the drivers were jerks!Soooooooo.....I downshift twice...into 3rd...light the candle...friggin GONE baby....take that ya pricks!Suzukis...PFFFFFTTT!

To top it all off...I gets WAY up the road...WAY up there...several miles ahead at least.Decide before I nail some nice sweeps...I'll have a couple drags on my ceeegar.Cool...I'm pulled off...a ways from the road.Take a nice drag...hear this sound comin.Look down the road...here they come....I'm thinkin..."well,here's yer last chance to redeem yerselves fellas"...I wave CLEARLY as they roll on by.NUTHIN!!!Not a peek over...well maybe outta the sides of their eyes...but that was that.I then finished and hit the Kookanusa run...it's on there.What a blast!So much for 'spirited' competition.I swear...I don't know WHAT's wrong with these bikers here...they act like they've never gone over 75 before!!!LOL!

That other guy...on the Harley...got his girl on there...You saw...I followed him....gonna just cruise with him a while.Sheesh,first chance he gets he starts wavin me by.I'm thinkin..."Dude,I just wanna cruise here with ya a while"...nope...he gets in a CURVE...two lane...you see it...and wants me to PASS him....LOLOL!!...NICE.Screw it...I did.Now I think he was secretly hopin there'd be a nice big ass semi in the oncoming lane!!!!!WHATEVER!!!

When I first saw him up close...I thought it was Brock Davidson!!!!!!ROFL!!!!!I swear,dude looked jus like him!

Those were the Hero HD....that shorter one is the Hero 2.I think it looks pretty good...(the one shot down on the midfairing).I can't go full HD...I have to use the WVGA deal...my pc can't quite handle the HD format...doesn't play right.But I could record in full HD if I had a monitor to play it on.Oh well...still turns out okay.Maybe in the future?
