Difference in Corbin Seats?

Does anyone know what the differences are between the 2006-2011 and 2012-present seats? The older part# is K-ZX14-6-CDS and the newer is K-ZX14-12-CDS so I assume there must have been some changes, right? Are there modifications needed on the older seat to fit the newer bikes?

Don't know the 1st answere but I just sold a Corbin originally for a 14 that snapped right on my 14R no issues at all

Perfectly Set up '06 dead and gone
New BBW '14 14R

The Sargent I had on my '11 fits on my '15 perfect, no mods.

I've heard similar stories but I still wonder why they changed them starting in 2012.

Maybe just foam contour, shape, and materials? Locking mechanism hardware seems to be the same.

Can the rear seat cover be installed over it? If the seat is made for a 2006-11 and I have a 2014 maybe I cannot install the cover, if they are different (?)
