Back to the fold

Hello all.

I've just purchased a 2010 ZX14 (practically gave it away since the 2012 model is coming) here is Australia, which makes this bike my fifth Kwaka.
I bought it as a change of pace from my CBR100RR, it has slightly less agressive riding position (I'm 51, mainly for the aches and pain of 24 yrs of Army life that tend to show up more often nowadays), and more presence on the road.

I'm buying an full Akrapovic system soon but was wondering whereabouts on the forum I could receive some insight into the difference between the Racing Open (S-K14R2-RC) and the Evolution Open (S-K14RFT2T-RC) systems.

There's no difference in power increase, but other than that the Akrapovic site says not much else.

All help gratefully appreciated.

Les.

Welcome! I'm not sure but I thought the evolution gave more hp. I'm prob mistaken though. Did you check to see if they were both titanium?

The Evo is Ti... the Race is SS.

You're gonna love the 14!
