Check out Knight Design pegs that are specific for ZX-14. Buell factory pegs take some drilling to adapt to Zx-14 peg bases and if you get the ones that are made for your bike, none of that should be necessary.

agreed. for that much just get the zx14 specific ones. I have them and they are great.

I started with the buell Ulysses pegs and they were ok, but oriented my foot a bit different, so I sold them to a friend.

either way you go, the rear brake will likely need adjusting or you have to put your heel on the pin part to reach it. at least I do, with only size 10 boots.

so if I go with 2" lower, and I have a stock exhaust, will these pegs hit my exhaust?

My murphs pegs scraped the stock heat shields on the R. A minor adjustment fixed that. Take the tape measure out to the garage and check...

I wouldn't count on the 2" clearing a 14r exhaust, I have the reg 1" ones and they just touch the heat shields on the brake side.

plus, the shift and brake levers would need a bunch of adjustment I'd say. If not aftermarket rearsets.

what does knight design say?

I went with the Buell Ulysess pegs. Brand new, and with new springs, pins, and c-clips, cheaper than Knights. No drilling requried. Perfect fit. Looks good and high quality. And yes, they will dig into your stock exhaust cover, but just barely. A quick file job with remedy that issue. You will need to adust the brake lever, easy to do. And one notch on the shifter peg arm.I just put on the TB exhaust, huge clearance.
