Exhaust Decisions
07/17/14 3:00 PM

Guys,
Im torn as to which exhaust to get. I love the TSUKIGI CANNON, (for particular reasons) and I had it on my gen I. Or the muzzy M10. I cant decide. Guys weigh in and let me know what you think. Bike is bone stock plan on just doing air filter and Cblast flash.

Thanks in advance,

Seeing as how on the 14R, the catalytic converter is in the mufflers, you can save alot of money by getting slip ons.

Sure an aftermarket header will be lighter and bigger bore, but not enough to make up for the extra $$$ you'll give for a full system.

I like the Brock's pipes, and the Yoshi R 55 (Very sharp, but not sure they offer that in slip ons alone)...........

I HATE those big ol honkin' pipes that are straight as a stove pipe all the way down. No design, curve or flow to the look at all. But to each his own.

Are you sure the cats are in the mufflers in the 14R? Very cool, but I just gave the wrong advice to someone. I thought that they were in the headpipes...

The North American model for sure only has cats in the mufflers. Headers are free of any obstructions.

Muzzy M10 full exhaust system. In my opinion its the best exhaust for the 14. Lightweight.. sounds great.. great quality and looks freaking awesome!!

I just recently watched Sebstian refining the flash for the M10 full system on his bike.

The AFR is flat out perfect, and the numbers it makes are impressive. I'll let him post his results, but you'd be hard pressed to find a better combo for the 14R.

If that M10 was available when I first bought my bike
I would have gotten that, no doubt about it, probably
am going to get one anyway ....

when the R first came out, there weren't as many options
I just couldn't stand those stock cannons !

oh and about the air filter, the stock one is really
about the best for this bike, just my opinion ..

08=11 Akrapovc makes a damn good noise and runs really good to. the brocks systems are just to load in my apinion. although the ct duals make a good note. Yosh r55 system sounds really good to you can't go wrong with any of the top brand exhaust. I'm a fan of single side sytems so it was full system for me regardless.

Guys,
I put the M10 on last night. I like it, sounds good. But I had a tsukigi Cannon on my G1. So its not as loud but at least they can hear me coming. I talked to Cblast about getting that flash. Things will be coming together soon.
