Im not about to find out for myself on a public road anytime soon,,, but I wonder what is the speed in gear say upto about 10k rpm's.... I think I seen 75 in first around 8-9rpm... but didnt get a good look.

You should be able to extrapolate from what you see at lower rpms. For example, if you are in a particular gear and the speedometer says 70 mph at 5,000 rpm, it should say 140 mph at 10,000 rpm in the same gear. One way to think about it... -bg

OK I went back and looked at one of vids doing a two up launch. This is all I can help you with I usually don't even glance at the speedo or tach at high speed, just play by ear.

1st 80@10k
2nd 100@10k
3rd 125@10k
4th 150@10k
