No Idea Painter...but I would think it would be the same...the spacers only go in so far. That pretty much stops any "extra" torque wouldn't you think? Then you've got yer caliper on there, that can't be squeezed.Stock values would most likely be fine(?)...that's what I'd go with.Where'd ya get those puppies anyway? And HOW ARE YA?...Doing okay I hope!

I know...not much help.

I don't know about the specs for the ceramics, but I do know that there is a problem with people over torquing. If you over torque the rear axle, the tube between the two wheel bearings mushrooms causing misalignment and premature failure. I didn't do this, but when I had mine in for premature failure of the hub bearing they were looking for it.

I can see why the hub bearing fails, Its not a sealed bearing and fails from lack of lubrication. I'm in process of doing a powder coat job on my wheels and have pulled the bearings. I'm not sure if ceramic bearings are worth the money since I don't plan on breaking any land speed records. When I get the wheels back I will have to make a decision.

Buck....I've got 36,000+ miles on my bearings....Look and feel just like new. They won't lose any lube if that spacer and seal is good.I greased mine before(a couple of times when changing tires)the extra grease just squeezed out of the seal and ended up around the spacer and on my rim.So they stay lubed as long as the seal is okay and spacer installed correctly. Now if you're spraying car wash force spray in there to clean the area, you're most likely gonna get water inside.Enough to damage the bearings over time.Kawi warns about using high pressure car wash wands in the manual.

I got my wheels back and the powder coat job in black looks real nice. Cost me $124.00 for both wheels. The bearings I decided on were the SKF explorer series, for all 5 bearings It was about $130.00. But I could have gone with the stuff from china for less than 25.00 but that shit scares me! When I get the wheels on I will post pictures, I think it's going to transform the bike to a new level.
