OLD AGE ??
01/19/14 4:36 PM

Hi Guy's,
Think this forum is great so friendly, but any of you guys that keep poping up and saying am I to OLD for
a ZZR1400 ? well we are all different ! I am 67 years old and ride a ZZR1400 2012 with bar rizers and a
sargent seat, plus full race exhaust with K&N filter, and carbon rear hugger, and tinted screan, with more to follow.
Plus I ride my old faithfull 2003 954 Honda Fireblade with Zillion's of extra's.
This year is my 50th Isle-of-Man TT.
So ride what you like...........only make it as fast as F**k.
Cos one day you will not be able too !!

Cheers TTPAUL.

What a brill forum.

And thanks for the help I have got from it.

Keep her pinned.

Age is a mind state, if you think your old then old you'll be, if you keep youth in your mind then your never too old for anything, I'm the biggest kid I know!

Full Muzzy, flies out,K&N, black wind screen, pc3, pm wheels, blue led gauges and lights, scorpip alarm, roaring toyz kickstand and lowering links, tinted turn sigs.

Some people watch others live life. Others are out there living their life. Congrats TT Paul, we have no trouble knowing which of the two you are. Well done. Now, lets see some pictures. TT on the bucket list.

Way to go Ttpaul. your never to old to ride. Your as young as you feel and whatever your body can handle.I'm looking at 52 this year. I do 5-10 track days a year on my zx10 and many street mile on the zx14. The zx14 will be hitting the 1/4 mile track later this summer. Stay tuned.

I'm 50-something, still a ways behind you but I plan on riding until I'm 85.

I also kiteboard here near Santa Cruz. We have a regular kiteboarder here who is 74, and he's out there with the 'kids' every week.

Moto-Biking, kiteboarding, skiing, diving, all fun adventure stuff is ageless.

I'm 58 and do track days on a BMW s1000rr and just bought another ZX14. Plan to hit the drag strip this summer. Went to sportbikes at 53 years old after 35 years on Harley's. NEVER to old to try something new. Now, if we could just get past winter!

This is a great thread; very encouraging, inspiring.

I used to think I may be a bit odd liking sportbikes in my late 40s

I guess not.

Congratulations on your 50th Isle of Man TTPaul,I just started with sport bikes at 50 yrs old.Woman I know that teaches riding for the state has a member of her group in his mid 70's riding an R1 when they go to the mountains.Man I bought my last cruiser from was in his mid 70's that had another guy in his mid 70's wanting it but his wife said no,he already had a bike lol. Also, that man I bought from has bought another bike since then.I just sold that cruiser today to a fellow that's 60 and has yet to learn to ride(told him he needed to take a bike course).Yrs ago a man down the road from me was on his Harley all the time,He was 87 yrs old (that's eighty seven just in case you missed that number). No Sir,never too old!Not bike related but had a buddy one time who's grandfather was drunk, laying in the floor saying he wanted to beat the h** out of somebody. He was 98 at the time lol.
