destroyed a busa today, ready for the bmw rematch
07/16/19 2:10 AM

so today I got to test zeus my zx14r in a few pulls and what a difference a quick shifter makes and the tune to the ecu. what once was a hard fight with the busa wasnt even close tonight. i am going to record it next time. however i use to lose to this busa on my gen 1 and it turns out he had work done to it. now with my work to my zx14r i crushed him and it freaking felt GOOOOOOOOOOOD!!!! payback !!!

I don’t understand why people need a quick shifter. Clutchless upshifts are a breeze going all out.

Clutch less up shifts you have to roll off the throttle a bit when you click the up shift. My experience with this technique at track days under brutal acceleration was about half the time I fucked it up. Not enough practice because I cant practice outside a track day

The QS uses a load sensor on the shift rod/lever to cut the spark/fuel for 80 msec and you dont roll off you stay hard on the throttle. Much smoother shifting under brutal acceleration and its really easy.

I just added the Healtech iQSe and it was $300 and for me a good value for $$ and I like it

I'm with you!
Paid something like 260 € for the Healtech and it's really worth it.

For track days maybe, but I can run mine in a straight line clutchless every bit as well as a QS equipped bike.
