MM I doubt is coming back. I'm factoring in peak racing age at 28, and that's about the window to exit out of the sport. Franco is at his peak too.

Franco gets on the bike and runs up front. Zarco is hot and cold like Qman. So if Qman has a cool head, Q, Franco, and a throwaway for 3rd is for Naki. I want to see the other Japanese kid win in moto3 who took pole. And Bastianini to collect some rookie points and upset the pack on the way up learning that curve.

SPOILERS INCLUDED !!!!
View at your own risk

CRIKEY !!! Miller finally does it ! He kept his head and stayed near the front when Quatararo
imploded. I'm hearing Fabio may have had a severe case of arm pump. He had the race in the bag
before slowing dramatically and dropping like a stone. Bagnaia came through from a couple
mistakes to "bag" 2nd. ( see what I did there?). Morbidelli did an excellent job to finish
3rd on a 2 year old bike. Marc could only get to 9th. Still fighting fitness issues and
lucky to escape after 2 big crashes and multiple close calls.
I'm almost ready to call it...Rossi is toast. I hope I'm wrong but he seems to have lost
the ability to adapt to bike problems.
So far an entertaining season. More please !

What a mess. Everyone is on the wrong bike. Can't take an ounce away from Miller. Naki was so close. Franco is also a peak rider for the last chance at the big one. Don't know if Baggy can grab it all, but we are looking at two guys that don't crash often. MM is a crasher, but for how long before he calls it quits. Rossi needs a slap to wake him up about being an also-ran and start getting his team ready for next year.

Rossis team is well on the way to forming. Just need to decide which bike to run.
Right now I'm guessing Ducati.
Fabio had arm pump surgery again. Should be ready for the next race in 2 weeks

Hit motogp at the top once you read this old news. Looks like a tire problem for the rest of the year?

Take a guess who Rossi signed up with when the duc deal went belly up...

Did you checkout the [video]... drop settings thru the turns? Pretty logical to pull the pin with the bike squatted. I guess it's legal times 2. For the 14 and busa, this trickledown tech would put a dent in rubber band sales.

I predict: Big fleet of riders with the arm-pump operation. Or sit home and stay there if you're done on the 4th lap and copy the Qman.

Ouch that hurts! Hello, Dr. Cutme?

Dry:
1. Qman
2. Zarco
3. Franco

Wet:
1. Zarco
2. Qman
3. Franco

Local boys fill the podium... home advantage.

You couldn't find a Hollywood script as dramatic as this morning's motogp. Many MM fans were on their seats and watched the story unfold. The comeback kid was first out with a set of rain tires, leading the race. Threw the lead away, got up and burned out the tires, clicking off the fastest laps for one rider dominating the field. Finally tossed it with a dry track on worn rains... story ends.

Meanwhile the usual rain dancers of Petrucci and Alex finished in the top 6. Local boys do well. Miller might be on a roll if Crutch's wife keeps egging him on.

Heartbreaking for the comeback kid.

Now that MM knows he can survive a crash , perhaps that will allow the extra focus to take him back to the top.. I would think he had to be always considering whether the shoulder would hold up to a tumble..

Hoist another frothy brew for Miller. 2 long lap penalties and still wins the race. In mixed
conditions, there's almost nobody better. Good to see Zarco back on the podium.
I think Joe Roberts could have won the race if he hadn't come in hot and hit Bezzecci
Great races.

Amazing how memories are so short.

Marquez intentionally follows Vinales around Q1 for a tow / advantage and tops the time sheets with Vinales missing out and starting the race from 13th.
So Vinales and Yamaha management are now filthy!
Plus if Maverick hadn't screwed up his final flying lap when Marquez had already rolled off he would have been through.

But when Marquez was at the top of his game what was happening?
Everyone including Vinales were lining up to follow him.
But that was fine right!

I hate whinging fucks!!!

Shhhhhhhh...haven't watched qualifying yet. Saw an interesting interview with Marquez.
He said it's more his shoulder and mind issues rather than his arm that are the problems.
Mind stuff can really screw you up after a big crash. You suddenly realize that
you can be seriously hurt or worse. Sometimes hard to overcome that.

Hey it's been a while since my last rant but you all must now agree I have been right all along with Valentino Rossi being a spent force.
His finishing positions for the 2021 MotoGP season so far have been nothing short of embarrassing.
Bet Petrona Yamaha are really regretting their decision to take him on board.

And in Catalunya did you see his pit crew celebrate like he'd won a 10th world championship when he scrapped into 10th place with his final lap in FP3 on combined times to automatically qualify for Q2 (and not have to go through Q1 for the first time in the season).
That was really demeaning for such a past great.

He then proceeded to qualified 11th on the grid out of 12 riders in Q2 and then crash out of the race proper when he was placed no where.
Strangely there was no video of his pit crews reactions after these performances.

Anyone care to argue or rebut any of this because I would be keen to see what you've got???

One thing is for certain.
You all now know there will be no 2022 for the famous number 46 as a rider...

While I finally agree with you regarding Rossi he still makes massive money for
the sport. And he's actually faster this year than he's ever been, but the
New kids are even faster. And while we're patting ourselves on the back, give me
props for correctly predicted Marcs ongoing problems. Germany is his best chance at
a win this year. Lets see how he does.

Qman is sitting on a slug. I was watching his bike screen. That ktm pass was brutal. Q was like watching a rubber band being pulled, and returned to catching up in the infield. Drag and dropped the other riders. Engine to transmission note, that yammie is one smooth fly-by-wire bike. That boy is so smooth, even reseating his ass in the transitions.

MM's honda has a raspy note and a pre-spin on the shifting. Zarco' duc had the lowest rpm tone of a base instrument. KTM is a mix of can't figure it out, but you'd go right back to that yammie. No pre-spin, no gear slam like Zarco deals with. KTM shift is just as pounding.

Now I hear: f-b-w my clutch lever.

First off, massive respect for Marc for his win in Germany. He was actually emotional afterwards
At Assen he had a monster high side. Very lucky to be relatively unhurt although you can tell
he's very sore. Last place in Germany Maverick has dominated in Assen. New lap record
and fast in all sessions. With the same bike and same settings as in Germany. Hmmm....
Rossi made it into Q2...Yay
Where he was last....booo...
Rossi's team confirmed on Ducati next year.

chrly, I am!

There is only one thing Valentino Rossi loves more than racing a motorcycle.
And thats winning while racing a motorcycle.
And if he can no longer do that, then why step backward?
Can you see him beating Jonathan Rea?
IMO if he did head to WSBK it would be exactly the same result as the last 4 years in MotoGP.
Consistent race finishes in 5th-15th.

You may be right Hub, but boy would that be glutton for punishment move!

So, put me down for 1 case of Victoria Bitter thanks.
