I threw out a few feelers to see what options were in development for our 14R pipes. I heard back from Yoshimura. They have plans to do pipes for the 2012, but are still trying to get a bike to fit them to. So that said it doesn't look like it will be too soon, but if anyone lives near Chino, CA and wants to loan them your bike, I'm sure there is probably a freebie in it for you. If you are interested, let me know and I can send you contact info.

Just thought I'd throw it out there.

Here's one for RECORD BOOKS..... had one of the 1st r1 in 98 so i put the bike up for sale.... had many calls but to make a long story short.

Guy calls me from chino, cali..... flys from cali to new york.... stays over at mY house... 7 o clock in the morning i showed him the interstate and he drives the bike to chino, cali in 3 days.

Did tell me he lived down the street from yoshimura... he raced the bike at willow springs raceway and did pretty good...saw him on speed channel once .

Hard core old school all the way..... also had a green army sack like 3 feet on he's back....some of friends would ride it and after 10 mins cry about there wrist.lol

Always liked yosh .... they make some of the best looking cans !
