Just completed the first 2000 miles on my zx-14 and can say I'm very happy. Given our crappy spring so far in Calgary, Canada and that I picked up my bike in mid-feb most people would know I'm loving the bike 'cause 3000 miles per year is riding pretty often in this climate.
A couple things come to mind about the zx-14:
1) its soooo smooth that when tires get worn or you don't index the chain when taking it off - these types of things are noticeable.
2) these bikes are hard on tires - fun, fun, fun
3) this bike is meant for the open road (never had a litre bike like it...), but still runs with the litre bikes in the twisties
4) the torque is crazy - a lot the same as ducati but after 90mph the zx hp takes over
5) need a different sport bike for my boys to learn on...
6) everything is else is fussing over a great bike
