I have Bestem lowers, and will grant I had to use the dremel to open the wellnut holes a bit, and to make the two halves join properly at the speed rivet. But the quality and finish are great.
If you are going to get carbon fiber, EXPECT it not to fit perfectly. There will usually be some drilling, cutting, or grinding that has to be done.
I have the rest of my 08 in carbon fiber now, as well, all courtesy of MDI Carbonfiber (ebay store). All beautiful pieces, good finish, properly laid up. And a whole lot of drilling, cutting, grinding and test fitting it took to get it on.
Make sure you buy all the liners from Kawasaki that attach with self-adhesive. They keep the panels from flexing and make them stronger and less likely to crack or get heat-damaged.
Now I have to save up for Racer Railz cause I don't want to even think about what a tip over would do to it.
