I read about a AGM ( Absorbed Glass Mat) battery. I am trying to learn more about the style battery. And is there a
motorcycle application. Honda made a Gel filled battery that fit in a Gen 1 Busa that
had more cranking amps than a stock acid filled Suzuki battery. Is there a Gel or AGM design
battery that we can intall in our ZX-14 that has more cranking amps?

Thanks............ Do you know of a gel or regular acid battery that has more power that will fit my
ZX-14? I read about the AGM on http://vonwentzel.net/Battery/index.html and I remembered one the Honda V-Twins
battery would fit in the Gen1 Busa, and had More cranking power for Higher Compression engines. That Honda battery
was Really Expensive back then but it was Gel filled and had More power. If I could find a AGM for the ZX-14
I might spend the coin and check it out. I have "Wasted More $$ on more stupid shit before. :-) If you
find a source for either a gel or AGM with more cranking amps Please share with us.

One of the members on the other site has a Speedcell 12volt that is really small and a Dry cell type design.
This is all I know about them. Roadraces use them but I want more power for long trips and 400 mile days.
I just don't see this tiny battery being as long lasting or a power full as the stock batter for all days touring.
Drag Racing and short street rides are what these guys do .So their obersavations and experience with them have not been tested for my needs. Yuasa OEM next battery or?? What would you use to go back in your 14??

Is this a Gel or wet filled 14 amh battery? Same anh as stock Kaw battery.
