Fatsix, I understand about the no power gain on the BMC; I'm only getting it due to its re-useability. I've always done that, buy a lifetime filter at first replacement for long term cost savings.

The check had come in the mail Saturday. The insurance paperwork says its up to 6011 miles on the odo. Looks like the thieves put around 40 miles on the bike. I'm thinking its close enough to the 7500 mile service that I may as well do air filter, plugs, and maybe have the valves adjusted now. Rather than wait until 7500 and take the bike out of service next year. Plus, with the full system and PCV; It will be in optimum shape for fine tuning on the dyno.

Looking on the estimate, they don't have some of my additions to the bill. No grips, no luggage (tank/tail bags), no bike cover, no drop pegs, the contents of my tank bag, and the big one; no seat lock replacement. Have to talk to them about that Tuesday. No way in hell am I putting up with a different key to take the seat on/off.

Fatsix Thanks for the info. The shop ordered all new parts to replace whats damaged last week. Going to stop by today to see what - and if anything come in. Getting every panel except a new tail section, which is not damaged; and hopefully a new or refinished front wheel. Stock mufflers (dinged/scuffed up) are going to turn into a brocks ct dual, PC-V, and a tune.

How bad are the plastics? I'm looking to buy a set to mess around with.

They aren't that bad. mostly light scuffs, almost no gouges, and the rt side lower has a crack. When I get it back, Ill take a better look at what's, what. I might hang onto them to have if I really eff up and need a replacement. but we'll see. once this process is through Ill send you some pics.

RE: Stolen Bike! updates.

Thought I would share an update. The shop working on the bike replaced the ignition and fuel locks so I could ride out the season. A week before thanksgiving I dropped it off for the rebuild to start.

Ordered were: Brocks CT dual system, new tires - Pirelli Angel GT, Brocks ecu flash, BMC filter, and PCV.

I really liked the feedback from the people who had Romans flash, and cblast's. I wanted to go with one of those, but after some consideration, I decided to keep it "all brock". that way if something is underperforming, I can say I followed your "build". Maybe later on, Ill have something else flashed to the low power mode.

So far, one of the plastic pieces (foreman grill) still hasn't arrived. Once a panel was shipped in a wrong color, and once the wrong side foreman was sent. What a headache, don't wreck one of these, sometimes parts availability can be a headache. Its winter now, so I don't much care.

Any day now, they will button it up and I will get a baseline pull with the brocks map. Then in the spring, after I ride it some; they will have me bring it in for a full tune with the brocks map as a base.

I'm really excited to see some decent numbers. On a hot day in august, it made 180rwhp. I really am looking for 210+ and 115+ tq. If it makes under 200/112 I will be disappointed. We'll see.

anyone interested in parts, I traded them to the shop for the ecu flash and dyno tune, sorry.

I know EXACTLY how you feel, my GSX-R1000 was stolen in August, but it was never recovered. I am glad to hear that you got yours back.
