But with them sorted now I decided to get out & enjoy life a bit more, so I went out & purchased a
new 2013 ZX14R.
Picked it up today, all I can say is amazing.

We are fairly high up where we are so we are ok as long as the power stays on but a lot of people not so lucky.
A lot of people flooded out & high winds doing a lot of damage.
Got some freinds & family staying with us because they got no power.

Heay mate I know in 1985 I left Cairns in late January and I got a taste of them monsunes not to nice heay! but these last couple of years that weather ya getting up their kinda remindes me of those poor buggers in the Tornado Valley at USA as to why ya wouldn't want to get out & move to a safer climate,I suppose it's fairly easy for my statement here in SA where the biggest threat seems to be the Bushfires at times,still all the same im glad you and yours are ok mate! stay safe look after ya mean Black mistress too lol

Dual Slip-On System

The EVO II E-Approved Factory R silencer of the LeoVince SBK range, are the result of a development that redefines the Factory line through an accurate design study that combines style, finish and performance in full accordance with the Highway code regulations.

The full titanium casing has now been developed as a truncated cone and comes in different lengths, according to the model where it is to be mounted.
The front section is equipped with an aerodynamic inlet having dual spring attachments to improve anchorage to the pipework.
The connectors are made of stainless steel AISI 304 and as appropriate, TIG-welded.
The new rear carbon tailcone has a dual asymmetric cut, outwards and downwards, that determines the right and left version, giving the motorbike an extra customising effect.
The silencer is attached to the frame by a carbon fiber strap with a rubber anti-vibration gasket.
The silencer external casing can be in titanium or carbon fiber.
Machine-Specific tuning to work with stock fuel settings
Removable EVOII soung insert for more aggressive tone

The SBK Factory exhaust systems are part of the top family of "Factory" systems available from LeoVince and the original design the Factory "R" was derived from. The Corsa systems feature a chamber welded full Titanium header and Titanium muffler with Carbon Fiber end-cap and mounting strap.

The full systems are constructed with a TIG-welded Stainless Steel header and either a Titanium or Carbon Fiber muffler with a Carbon Fiber end-cap and mounting strap. The slip-on systems have either a Titanium or Carbon Fiber muffler with a Carbon Fiber end-cap and mounting strap. In addition to providing significant weight savings, SBK Factory systems are designed to enhance looks, and increase horsepower with stock jetting or fuel injection settings.
