Hey you guys...if ya want a nice,,,very nice denim jacket....with the armor and fitment....the Cortech DSX is yer ticket.They're on sale now...less than a hundred bucks.I didn't know what to expect really..but I'm VERY pleased.Been eyeing this jacket for well over a year now.Finally got one.All my jackets are geared for colder temps....this one is NOT a lightweight ...BUT...it's very vented and comfortable.Has like four zippered pockets....elbow,forearm stiched in armor....shoulder armor...removable...and back armor...removable.Nice worn look...quality seams...quality fitment....thick denim.Soft neck pad...metal zippers...on the front...a cover deal for the zipper face....so no scratching.Two side pockets on front with metal zippers...not cheap ones...none of em...all beefy zippers.Two inside pockets...nice..velcro fasteners...Two front chest vents,with zippers.Two rear long vents...zippered.Two upper arm vents....zippered..Excellent liner...thick.Took it out(the liner)(it's also got color coded loops in it so ya don't have any trouble gettin the liner in right...nice touch)....rode without a shirt on underneath yesterday....it was VERY comfortable...just right really.If yer lookin for a great looking cool jacket that you can wear all year...this may be it.The rear 'flap'...you know...the 'tail' deal...that comes down really well,covers yer back and all nicely,along with the velcro adjuster straps along side...you can snug it down good...and it stays there.Also has a jacket to pant zipper in the back...if ya want to sew the zipper deal into some pants.VERY happy with this thing.Looks great....not gaudy at all...just a no nonsense denim jacket that will protect ya...the picture on the sites don't do it justice at all.It's very well built and should last a LONG time.

I bought a black tank from another member here and I've been meaning to change it. I am still undecided on whether to mix the black and red colors to it, or change it to all black, or all red.

Ya...looks like a nice jacket.I definitely needed something 'lighter'...this DSX is 'between' heavy and very light.It's quite well made...thick and all.But not too heavy.It's my fav right now!I 'probably' should have gotten the same in 'regular' large.I went with the 'tall' cause the rear always seems to buffet up on my jackets...snaps...that's what I need.But the 'tall' goes down really well...cinch up the velcros(they actually STAY put)and the rear flap covers very good and doesn't ride up at all.No wind coming from underneath...that's a big plus.
