Thanks for info, how much for re-flash ? The Concours nice bike for sure. My riding buddy is also looking for pipes and a reflash. Bike is low antifreeze, not sure why yet will let you know if it's worth mentioning.

Hopin' on the Connie wagaon huh....Do you get a better deal for the reflash if your a member of COG?Been thinking about it.
So far the upgrades on my C14 are Kaoko throttle lock,Laminar lip,the 47 liter top case from Kawi(dealer gave it to me with 20%off)GPS mount and wiring,Passport and screamer hookups,GSG moto frame sliders and axle protectors, also took the frame sliders off my ZX14 and had a friend of mine make longer spacers for them, got a set of Road 3's to put on when time and I'm also in the process of turning the bike green.Dash lights also.I'm probably going to paint the rims when I change the tires too!!!!
The stock Brigdestone's will be lucky to make 4,000 miles.

You are right, I feel like we have developed a core group of enthusiasts here, who are all about tech, and the culture of speed on two wheels, and that is uncommon.

There...take THAT Mr.Coot!

"When I put the rear saddlebag crash bars on, I think I'll mount my ProjekD cup holder on them... maybe".How bout a nice set of apehangars. And a surround sound system like those Harley guys have...you know...all the comforts of the living room couch .

Well..those apehangers would certainly give ya the leverage to make those figure 8's and u-turns like the pros!

"no, not enough real estate to locate the speakers"....yah there is...right there on the ram duct covers(front) and on the forward flat edge of those saddlebags. They'd work perfect like that.IDK where ya'd mount yer stereo...somewhere there between yer GPS and your....well...you could find somewhere?

Not as stupid or dumb as a guy who buys a perfectly fine sport touring bike and tries to turn it into a friggin Ultra Classic.Yer on the wrong forum.Get a Harley.....or learn how to do figure 8's and u-turns.Need some lessons?I can give ya a few pointers.

You're brash and obnoxious to people here.Learn how to be a bit more patient with us underlings Mr. Anal retentive.

"So I guess"...yup....you guess alright...about everything pertaining to other people's posts and what they mean.

I wasn't trying to embarrass you about 'Apehangars'...I was joking around...as usual..you turned it into something way different than what it was.Same with all the stuff....you've got no sense of humor...no 'tolerance' for being lighthearted.Talking about me 'slobbering' all over my bike.If that's not trying to embarrass someone...what is?Yeah...I ride fast...you bet.And love every second of it.No apology here.BTW...I do have that MSF card.Way back before you ever knew anything about the course.

If I remember correctly...you were the one leading the charge about telling us guys who were getting the new 14 that it didn't exist, and we were a bunch of fantasyland riders. Not just once either. That was your 'mantra'.."it's a rumor, and all you guys are full of it".

If you weren't so damn serious about stuff...you'd see the comic relief in these posts. It's all tongue in cheek Private. You've got a nice bike...anyone dissing you about what you're feeling about it?And if they were...so what? You like your bike...that's all that matters about that.

It's an open forum...you ARE allowed to post anywhere you want. This aint Nazi Germany.

"We'll be anxious to hear how you like it!"....well?How DO you like it?

"Too bad it has rocks for tires"....and what kind of tires are on there?

Got yer card?...I've got mine....let's see it.Prove it....You said "us guys" here wouldn't be able to pull off U-turns and figure 8's on the zx14....so how in the heck did you manage to do it way back when?In the 80's??????Who's blowing smoke? Here's yer chance to totally 'blow me out of the water'......

"when you don't know what you are talking about".Okay....enlighten me then .

"I have a set of PR3s on the way, and when they say my C14 is in, I'm taking them over and having them put on"...are these the same ones you called 'rocks' in your other post?.Since you didn't have your bike yet...how could you know whether the Bridgestones were rocks or not?

And this here sentence...this REALLY shows you know what you're talking about.... "early 1980s, but I'm not sure. It was for sure one of the earliest MSF Experienced Rider courses taught near San Jose CA"."I have a MSF Experienced card, dated 2009".

And I don't know what I'M talking about?Dude...Which was it...1980's or 2009?And you did your figure 8's and u-turns in 2009?BS...I call BS on your judgement of 'us guys' here and our abilities. You're the one needs to get right and stop lying to everyone.

"This is my problem with you"...no,it's not.Your problem with me is that I call BS when I hear it...and you don't like it.Don't post false statements that include other people here, and you won't ever hear a peep from me.

Maybe you could tell us here how in the hell you managed to pull off the 'experienced MSF figure 8 and u-turn" evolutions with your physical problems you so graciously explained way back when....on a zx14 with stock bars.

It should be easy to explain the physical actions of performing those maneuvers right here...to all of us...hell,we all ride....I'm sure it's not too hard to break it down in layman's terms for a guy with your expertise?Kind of a 'play by play' explanation of how you did it?

Aw nevermind....it's your thread.Forget I even was here.
