Power outlet

I installed a Powerlet outlet on the 14R tonight. I had one on my Ducati and found it very useful so thought I would put one on the big girl. I have a heated jacket liner that I use on cold mornings that plugs right in and use the same outlet to plug the battery tender in. I also have a cell phone charger cord for emergencies while out.

A Powerlet outlet is one of the first things I install on any bike I get. Like you, it's for the electric liner and the battery tender. Very convenient.

Is it just the angle, or is that outlet exposed to rear tire spray?

Not that it isn't waterproof when closed, but it will get crusty dirty.

Or is it just the angle of the picture?

It is pretty much out of the way. It is above the rear brake line. Also has a decent spring loaded cover so is fairly well protected.
